JULY 30-31, 2022

1 Credit, 1 Weekend Course

(Register by Friday July 8th)

Online/At Home format for this season, so you may join us from anywhere around the globe

Featuring Live Group Synchronous and Guided Independent time throughout the weekend.

With Additional resources and study-time given before and after the weekend.

HLC584 Movement Creativity and Consciousness Class

(Two Credit – 2 Weekend Class: July 23-24 and August 6-7, 2022) 

Arts, Nature, Eco-Consciousness Class:

This upcoming specialty workshop / class is a moving experience,

designed to awaken and nourish participants’ creative spirit 

and to present foundational material on deep ecology 

and the role of the creative process in renewing our sacred connection with the environment

This specialty elective class is offered every 2 years, 

so if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time!

HLC592 Arts Nature Eco-Consciousness  1 Credit, 1 Weekend

For Graduate Credit, current students

may register via MySalve or via Registrar’s Office

as you would register for any other Credit course

“The Arts, Nature and Eco-Consciousness” HLC592

a special-topic weekend workshop at Salve Regina University, 

offered through the Expressive & Creative Arts program,

part of the Holistic Graduate Programs, 

Department of Counseling, Leadership and Expressive Arts

This class offers an exploration of creative processes 

with a focus on new perspectives in the evolving consciousness of all life on the planet. 

This class will run Saturday – Sunday 

JULY 30-31, 2022

(Saturday 9:30 – 4:00pm, Sunday 9:30 – 4:00pm)

This class will emphasize a holistic approach 

to embodied creativity that will reflect the essential interconnectedness

of all life within the earth community. 

This weekend workshop

is designed to awaken and nourish participants’ creative spirit 

and to present foundational material on deep ecology 

and the role of the creative process 

in renewing our sacred connection with the environment.

This experiential class includes:

• Approaches to earth-based mindfulness and contemplative practices

• Introduction to the work of leading visionaries in the field of Reverential Ecology

Self-exploration through image-making, visual arts, movement, storytelling and sound

• Techniques and skills to re-imagine our creative roots 

and continue an ongoing expressive dialogue with the natural world

• Practices activating the transformative nature of Eco-art experiences 

that can be used in the fields of education, human services, 

community organizations, and the arts

•Learning to reconnect with our natural environment

 and reflect from a holistic view on your relationship to the “web of life.” 

Through a hands-on approach to self-expression and reverential ecology

participants will engage in self-exploration through the expressive arts

including explorations with visual arts, sound & music, creative movement & theater arts.
